"Say NO to Deno's AI UDOs!"
UDO = Unified Development Ordinance
What is that?? = UDOs are local municipal documents that combine previously scattered “rules” such as zoning, subdivision regulations, and design standards into a single, comprehensive law
Community impacts of UDOs: what areas are “zoned” for which purposes, subdivision rules, design and aesthetic standards for new construction, environmental and conservation requirements, and infrastructure rules such as standards for parking, sidewalks, roads, and open spaces

But wait, what's going on???
Well there is a DANGEROUS vote happening on Monday. IF the council allows there to be a hearing on INCOMPLETE data center development code, we WILL see that code passed by the end of THIS MONTH.
The threat?
WEAK protections on ALL environmental matters. So our health and well-being WILL be affected.
No oversight on water usage and limited provisions on cooling system requirements. Limited electricity usage limitations. BY RIGHT development in industrial zones (which are NEXT to neighborhoods). WEAK air and noise protections.
Basically this UDO pushed forward by Councilmember Deno Hondros is a handout to data center developers.
We need A MORATORIUM and we will NOT be ignored!
So join me and some friendly, but vocal folks outdoors to GET LOUD.
And also contact your district representatives DIRECTLY to express that you want a MORATORIUM and NO public hearing on the UDOS
